Belle Bijouix was created for women who are busy living.

Our founder, Johnessa, has loved fashion since she was ten years old, when she was discovered by a modeling agent in a shopping mall. Her dad said no. Her grandmother — a Tampa socialite who wore fabulous hats, had her hair done every Saturday, and led a Christmas drive for children in her community for years — had other ideas. She took Johnessa to the fittings, the appointments, and the runways.
Johnessa modeled through her early twenties and, at just 21, opened one of Tampa's first Aveda salons with her sister.
Then came marriage, motherhood, and life.
Fashion never disappeared, but for many years, it took a back seat. Johnessa was far more interested in dressing her children than herself.
Now her children are grown, and both her son and daughter travel the world building extraordinary lives of their own. Watching them reminded Johnessa of something important: that adventurous young woman was still in there, too.
It's her turn.
That idea became the heart of Belle Bijouix.
Johnessa is tall — and like every woman, she knows how hard it can be to find clothes that actually fit and flatter real bodies. She's also busy: she works in a law firm, runs a horse farm, and builds this business. She doesn't have an hour every morning to figure out what to wear, and she doesn't want clothes that require fussing with them all day.
